Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Optician. As an Optician, you'll play a key role in helping our customers find the perfect pair of glasses or contact lenses to suit their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales and company objectives by providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products.
  • Assist with dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to customers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Educate customers on proper eyeglass and contact lens care, providing them with the knowledge they need to get the most out of their purchase.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring that all customer information is up-to-date and secure.
  • Maintain visual merchandising according to Brand and Company Standards, ensuring that our stores look their best at all times.
  • Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law, helping to develop the next generation of eye care professionals.
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Maintain license, as required by state.
  • Strong selling skills, aimed at meeting both the store's and self-sales targets, by following company policies.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Detailed oriented, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, with a commitment to representing America's Best in a positive and respectful manner.
