Sterilite is seeking a skilled Inventory Accountant to join our finance team. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly inventory to GL reconciliation and other reconciliations as needed. You will also prepare and maintain various month-end journal entries and schedules, as well as prepare federal and state compliance reports. Additionally, you will assist the Finance team in analyzing financial statement accounts and prepare year-end inventory standard revaluations. Your duties will also include managing and reviewing weekly cycle counts, requesting recounts, and maintaining the cycle count tracking schedule for all locations. You will also approve deductions to the advertising accrual and maintain associated schedules. To be successful in this role, you will need a firm understanding of accounting fundamentals, proficiency in Excel, and strong analytical and organization skills. Experience with Oracle is preferred.
