">About the Role
">The Registered Nurse I will be responsible for providing direct patient care, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
">Responsibilities
">* Provide safe and effective patient care by using evidence-based practices and best available research.
* Perform systematic assessments and develop individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
* Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to quality assurance activities.
* Stay current with industry developments and advancements in nursing practice, applying new knowledge and skills to enhance patient care.
Requirements
">* BSN or ADN degree in nursing from an accredited institution
* Current RN licensure in the state of Maine
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
* Flexibility to work alternate shift schedules, including evenings, nights, and weekends
