Bakery Cake Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Cake Decorator to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating and decorating cakes, tarts, and pastries that exceed our customers' expectations.

• Design and decorate cakes, tarts, and pastries using a variety of techniques and ingredients.
• Work efficiently to meet production demands and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of bakery operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a high level of quality and presentation in all bakery products.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

• Minimum of 6-12 months retail or restaurant experience.
• Complete the bakery decorator apprentice training program or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in a professional bakery or grocery retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, and electric pallet jacks.
