About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at POAH Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our residents, visitors, and staff. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
