Key Responsibilities:


Conduct comprehensive hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, including spread calculations, drainage tabulation, and regulatory floodway assessments (FEMA). You will be responsible for producing drainage plans and hydraulic reports for various clients, while receiving guidance on complex issues.

Approach each project with a strategic mindset, ensuring effective coordination with other engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. You will be expected to propose creative solutions to design challenges, keeping project objectives in focus.

Oversee the assignments and progress of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring that project timelines are met.

Prepare detailed engineering reports and contract documents for review, and conduct independent peer evaluations of team outputs.

Review contract plans and calculations from external engineering teams to ensure compliance with relevant drainage design standards and specifications.

There is potential for you to serve as the Engineer-of-Record.

Effectively communicate proposed design solutions during internal project meetings and actively participate in discussions with external stakeholders.

Adhere to company marketing protocols by providing timely updates to your professional resume, supporting technical proposals, and engaging in marketing initiatives.

Ensure the prompt completion of time sheets, expense reports, and management of labor hours.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years in the field.

Familiarity with HEC-RAS and HY-8 software is essential.
