We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team at Med-Trans. As a Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Med-Trans requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including Medical Transportation Coordinator (MTC) and regulatory records.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams, following established protocols.
- Accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training to ensure compliance with FAA and Med-Trans standards.
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Helicopter instrument rating.
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- 2,000 total flight hours.
- 1,500 helicopter hours.
- 1,000 helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
- 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).
- 200 instrument hours (actual/hood/SIM).
- 50 hours actual weather in aircraft.
