About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at Solaris HealthCare Lake Zephyr, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from illness, injury, or surgery. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and functional ability
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise and provide high-quality care
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a physical therapy program approved by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the United States Department of Education
  • Passing of the American Registry Examination or a national examination approved by the board
  • Licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the state of Florida
  • Preferred: prior experience in physical therapy, membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Association, and proficiency in administrative and public relations skills
