Job Title: Data Quality Analyst

CareOregon is seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the accuracy and integrity of data within our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the current state of data quality within the EDW, running data profiling and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Participate in establishing, monitoring, and reporting on target goals for data quality improvement.
  • Identify optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues to achieve targets.
  • Work with EDW and Business Intelligence Teams to implement data quality initiatives and ensure proper data quality checks are included in code and testing suites.
  • Monitor and track ongoing data quality levels, ensuring adequate quality is maintained to support business processes.
  • Resolve and escalate data quality issues proactively and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Data Quality Analysts, ISBI resources, and champion the data governance/quality program.
  • Escalate issues exceeding the scope of this position to the data quality champion or other business leaders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in data quality analysis, data governance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to review and interpret data quality reports and identify actions needed to address issues.
  • Ability to write SQL to review data quality and build Tableau dashboards to communicate analytical findings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
