We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Charles Schwab. As a key member of our O2 team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing our core client data platform.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 8+ years of experience in developing large-scale software using Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services
  • 6+ years of experience working with containers and microservices in the cloud
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud deployment in a continuous integration and continuous delivery model (CI/CD)
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability in solution discovery and crafting a design based on engineering principles
  • 2+ years of experience working with databases like MongoDB, Aerospike, and/or PostgreSQL

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), or AWS or GCP
  • Prior experience in IT Transformations and system modernization initiatives
  • Good knowledge of messaging technologies
  • Experience in Financial Services industry
  • Experience in Test Driven Development, QA Automation, and Quality mindset and behaviors
