Job Summary

Frito-Lay North America is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations
  • Load and unload trailers, including manual and palletized loading/unloading
  • Transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, and other traffic centers
  • Obtain signature of receipt, pick up returns, and complete logs and other paperwork related to deliveries
  • Review invoices and/or manifests
  • Use an electronic logging device such as a tablet or an onboard (dash) computer
  • Regularly interact with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch
  • Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections
Requirements
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Self-motivated and hardworking, with ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail, with ability to review weight limits on manifests and count cases to ensure accuracy
