This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotels and restaurants. As a Facilities Maintenance Professional, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all areas are tidy and free of debris, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and performing other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep and mop floors regularly
  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning kitchens
  • Perform tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use
  • Steam-clean carpets and apply wax to coat floors and buff
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean
  • Apply sealant to floors and clean service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
  • Move heavy equipment and furniture as needed
  • Identify and report possible repairs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
