PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, define, analyze, and generate detailed specifications for testing, system coordination, proposal submissions, and applied research and development performance.
- Develop, document, and implement solutions to complex technical challenges related to the analysis, design, development, operation, and modification of engineering products and services.
- Conduct research, analysis, and equipment (hardware/software) design and development, system analyses, process studies, and investigations for intricate technical issues.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination of technical information among multidisciplinary engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical presentations to senior management and clients.
- Define, design, and develop system requirements.
- Assess architectural frameworks and current hardware limitations.
- Design complex system specifications, input/output processes, and compatibility parameters for hardware/software.
- Coordinate subsystem design and total system integration.
- Analyze and resolve complex program support deficiencies.
- Conduct independent technical investigations of system designs.
- Consolidate design efforts on major projects.
- Provide functional and technical mentorship to junior engineers across all aspects of engineering projects.
- Organize and lead sections of major program reviews, design reviews, and proposals.
