Adecco USA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a vital role in the healthcare sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care and clinical excellence.
Contract Type: Temporary engagement with potential for extension or transition to full-time employment.
Work Schedule: Three shifts per week from 730AM to 530PM, with one extended shift from 730AM to 7PM.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $45 to $47, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and document comprehensive patient care, including administering injections and conducting preventive health screenings.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs in accordance with established protocols and scheduling guidelines.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients for consultations by gathering and recording essential clinical data.
- Provide education to patients about their health conditions and guide them in self-management practices.
- Execute standing orders, such as authorizing prescription refills and ordering diagnostic tests, in line with practice standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Proactively reach out to patients requiring appointments or services, communicate test results, and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, ensuring accurate message-taking and routing to appropriate providers.
- Monitor and manage task assignments to ensure timely responses and follow-ups on critical referrals.
- Work with Regional Nurse Managers to complete annual competency assessments.
- Support the Clinical Lead and serve as a resource for other clinical staff members.
- Mentor new team members to foster a collaborative environment.
- Maintain open communication with the care team and regional management.
- Stay informed about current coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations as well as company policies.
- Adhere to all patient safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN licensure in the state.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably with pediatric and adolescent populations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.
