Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic imaging exams, producing high-quality x-ray films, and instructing patients on proper positioning for accurate images. You will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality x-ray films, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Instruct patients on proper positioning for accurate images, ensuring optimal results.
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to national patient safety initiatives.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration, as required by state law.
- Two years of X-Ray Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
- Weekly pay and direct deposit.
