Experimental Physics Professor

Saint Louis University, a renowned Catholic institution, is seeking a distinguished experimental physicist to join its esteemed faculty. As a tenured/tenure-track professor, you will be part of a vibrant community of scholars dedicated to advancing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct cutting-edge experimental research in molecular and/or quantum optics, quantum materials and quantum information, advanced materials, nanomaterials and devices, condensed matter physics, biophysics, medical physics, or nanomedicine.
- Collaborate with existing faculty within and outside the Department to foster interdisciplinary research and innovation.
- Teach across the undergraduate and graduate physics curriculum, including experiential and laboratory courses, and mentor students and researchers at all levels.
- Contribute to the growth of the School of Science and Engineering and Saint Louis University through research, teaching, and service.
- Ph.D. in experimental physics.
- Post-doctoral research experience.
- A strong record of scholarly accomplishments commensurate with rank.
- Dedication to performing groundbreaking, funded research in experimental physics and building an exceptional national/international research program.
- Membership in underrepresented minority groups in physics.
