Senior Tax Manager, Business Advisory

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and examination of Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax filings for clients in the Entertainment Industry, including Athletes, High Net Worth individuals, and Family Office clients, along with their associated entities. Conduct accounting tasks necessary for tax filings. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients. Devise solutions for clients and advocate for the execution of ideas. Review and confirm project objectives, scope, and work plans with clients. Identify resource requirements for assignments and ensure the right resources are allocated to specific roles. Proactively identify and resolve complex project issues. Regularly seek client feedback on project progress and overall performance. Manage teams to ensure both short-term and long-term profitability. Assist the partner team in identifying and promoting the development of new service capabilities and channels to meet evolving market demands. Support the partner team in strategizing and planning practice unit objectives and budgets. Identify and create new initiatives to enhance retention, meet resource needs, and foster talent development. Utilize strong coaching abilities to mentor key talent. Share knowledge and skills with the team. Engage in continuous personal development aligned with the competency model. Collaborate with tax teams across various regions. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field. Active CPA or EA license is required. A minimum of 4 years of experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accounting. Experience with a diverse range of entity types. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities. Strong project management and leadership skills, including the ability to effectively coach and mentor talented individuals. Technical proficiency in tax software applications. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Proven experience in delivering high-quality client service.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in Taxation is preferred. Experience with clients in the Entertainment industry is preferred.
