About this Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Business Accountability Director (Cybersecurity Third Party Governance Director) to join our Technology team as part of Cybersecurity. This role is responsible for leading the Third Party Cybersecurity program, ensuring adherence to enterprise policies, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of managers and individual contributors to deliver high-quality services to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by overseeing strategy and execution of all activities.
  • Lead the team in making strategic decisions to resolve complex issues related to high-risk deliverables.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business heads, regulators, control management, risk, legal, and audit partners to ensure effective management of business risk.
  • Manage the allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • 8+ years of Third Party experience.
  • Well-versed in Third-Party, including technology and cyber risk, with the ability to develop technology third-party strategy, operating models, and roadmaps.
  • Finance sector security experience or other highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to manage integrations across multiple technology systems, operations, and/or processes.
  • Experience building and maturing a third-party program.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Information Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC.
Job Expectations:
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.
