Job Summary

The Pneumatic Technician position is responsible for mechanical and/or electrical and/or hydraulic testing of materials, devices, and products, sample preparation, test fixturing, and general test equipment maintenance. The technician must comply with quality systems and procedures as stated in process bulletins and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and provide accurate information and communication with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Comply with all safety recommendations and requirements.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Administer and monitor various tests to meet customers' requirements.
  • Assemble and disassemble hydraulic powered test stands using pneumatic and manual tools.
  • Engage in generating and implementing ideas and processes to improve projects, utilizing and managing resources to meet and exceed department goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work legally in the US.
  • Prior pneumatic experience.
  • Ability to read and decipher drawings and specifications.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, write, communicate orally, and analyze data.
  • Experience with hand tools and data acquisition in the area employed.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend industry-related technical terms.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well with others - a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and/or hydraulics.
  • Experience with test apparatus control and data acquisition hardware and software.
  • Fabrication or machining skills are highly valued.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing. May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
