Network Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Global Technology Associates. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software, and communication links and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network infrastructure to meet business requirements
  • Configure and deploy network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Monitor and maintain network security and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in network engineering
  • Knowledge of internetworking designs and routing protocols
  • Experience with Cisco switches and routers
  • Firewall experience with Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, or Checkpoint NG
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
