Key Responsibilities:

As a coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Facilitating a minimum annual increase of 7% in student proficiency in both English Language Arts and Mathematics on state assessments.
  • Ensuring adherence to the educational model and holding staff accountable for its execution.
  • Providing guidance to educators and interventionists in lesson planning and instructional pacing.
  • Monitoring compliance with the master schedule among teaching staff and interventionists.
  • Demonstrating effective small group and whole class instructional strategies as needed.
  • Overseeing data collection from weekly and interim assessments to inform targeted small-group instruction.
  • Creating and maintaining instructional pacing guides for the academic year.
  • Ensuring that all students participate in common formative assessments.
  • Promoting the utilization of Live School by all educational staff and administrators.
  • Maintaining a positive behavior support system with a 3:1 ratio of positive to corrective feedback.
  • Keeping academic program rosters up to date.
  • Delivering training and support for program implementation as required.
  • Fostering positive relationships with educational staff across partner institutions.
  • Assuming additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A strong commitment to serving students and families in under-resourced communities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A valid state teaching license.
  • Extensive knowledge of grade-level standards, benchmarks, and curriculum.
  • Experience in utilizing data to enhance instructional practices.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
  • Participation in instructional reviews across the region.
  • Engagement in administrative and partnership meetings as required.
  • Support for the overall school environment, including supervision during transitions and lunch periods.
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
