Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Demonstrates clinical proficiency in accordance with the unit's Scope of Care.

Organizes and prioritizes nursing care for assigned patients within the unit.

Administers medications following the five rights of medication administration.

Exhibits competency in patient education and discharge planning, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary team members.

Communicates effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and both internal and external stakeholders.

Utilizes quality improvement principles to enhance unit and departmental processes.

Engages in professional development and growth.

Maintains readiness for regulatory inspections.

Takes accountability for decisions and actions.

Contributes to the efficient operation of the unit.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse license required.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required.
  • This position involves 12-hour shifts, either rotating or night shifts.
