Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL driver to join our team at Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems. As a CDL driver, you will play a critical role in delivering our products to customers within the assigned area, utilizing a pickup, flatbed, and/or roll-off truck. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems products to customers within the assigned area, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Assist the sales department with the delivery of new trucks when needed, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Properly handle and secure containers, parts, and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures while operating Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems Vehicles, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered products and collect payment for services when required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Assist the parts manager with shipping and receiving, showcasing your ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Responsible for unloading stock equipment and parts when on-site, demonstrating your physical stamina and willingness to get the job done.
  • Assist the compactor department with the delivery and installation of equipment, highlighting your problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid Class A or B CDL License
  • 2-4 years of professional CDL driving experience
  • Must pass a DOT physical including drug screening
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred
  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach
  • Must be able to lift and move more than 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance
