The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. This role requires a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop patient-centered plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement patient education plans, ensuring patients and their families understand their care and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
