Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Luke's South Hospital. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in various medical-surgical intermediate/PCU departments, utilizing your expertise in nursing practices and procedures.
  • Float between approximately 5 units, including Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU Departments, and other Metro campuses as needed.
  • Work a combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, with a minimum of 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period.
  • Participate in holiday coverage based on unit needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current and valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Valid certifications, such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, and CPI.
  • Ability to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
  • Compact licensure in Kansas and Missouri or a valid driver's license with a current address.
