Pediatric Department Chair Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pediatrician to lead our Department of Pediatrics at Staten Island University Hospital. As Chair, you will be responsible for overseeing hospital and ambulatory services, working collaboratively with hospital and health system leaders to develop and execute the department's strategy, and reporting to both hospital leadership and the Northwell pediatrics service line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of hospital and ambulatory services
  • Development and execution of department strategy
  • Collaboration with hospital and health system leaders
  • Reporting to hospital leadership and Northwell pediatrics service line
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a Residency in Pediatrics with Board Certification
  • Minimum of five years of clinical practice in pediatric medicine and previous leadership experience
  • Licensed as a physician in the New York State
  • Experience in a leadership role in a Hospital department, preferably in a major medical center or health system
