Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our veterinarians and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling purposes
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner
  • Maintain accurate client and pet records
  • Assist clients with necessary instructions, information, and invoices
  • Schedule future appointments and manage hospital computer systems
  • Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate balances
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and teammates
  • Advocate for pets through client education and support
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience with veterinary software preferred
