Job Title: Travel Nurse RN

Join Cynet Health as a Travel Nurse RN and take on a challenging role in rehabilitation nursing. As a skilled nursing professional, you will work with patients to help them adapt to an altered lifestyle and provide a therapeutic environment for their development.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete referrals and take physician's verbal orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform physical assessments, evaluate patient needs, and consult with physicians to develop a plan of care and documentation.
  • Assess the need for additional health or ancillary services and refer patients for service(s) when appropriate.
  • Assess family and home environment and make recommendations to enhance patient care and promote safety.
  • Coordinate the multidisciplinary care team and plan for patient care and document appropriately.
  • Interpret admission, discharge, and other policies of the company, physician, family, other healthcare providers, and community as needed.
  • Provide clear, written, and verbal Home Health Aide and LPN assignment updates.
  • Provide skilled nursing care and assessments to patients in the rehab environment, according to the plan of care and revise as necessary.
  • Inform and provide progress notes to the patient's physician and podiatrist about patients under care.
  • Initiate appropriate preventive, rehabilitative, comfort, and pain management nursing procedures and provide instructions to patients/caregivers and staff.
  • Explain the diagnosis and treatment to the patient and family consistent with the physician's orders and plan of treatment.
  • Perform specialized care in accordance with competencies and demonstrate initiative in learning new skills and developing competency.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current nursing license, in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year current rehabilitation/skilled nursing experience.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS if unit consists of Telemetry.
