Senior Backend Engineer Position OverviewAs part of our onchain journey, we are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Backend Engineer to help build the next chain that will be the house of liquidity and DeFi.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of experience on EVM related chains. They should have excellent coding skills, deep understanding of cloud architectures, algorithms, and strong debugging capabilities.
Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, reviewing code from other team members, taking charge of driving strategic technical initiatives to ensure reliability and scalability of the chain, and providing guidance and technical leadership to peers in navigating architectural and coding tradeoffs.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of software engineering experience on EVM related chains.
- Excellent coding skills, deep understanding of cloud architectures, algorithms, and strong debugging capabilities.
- Experience building backend systems from the ground up, on a 0→1 fashion.
- Desire to keep up with modern best practices in software development/Web3, and shape our tech stack as we build out new systems and services.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $210,000-$232,000. We also offer a range of benefits, including company-paid medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents, gym subsidy, 401(k) with 4% employer contribution, annual $1,500 education stipend, unlimited and encouraged time off, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, home office setup stipend for remote employees, and daily lunches at NY headquarters.
