As a Manicurist Specialist, you will embody our Mission of Love by providing nail services to Masonic Village residents and other designated populations.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Understanding and adhering to all PA State Board of Cosmetology/Nail Technician Licensing regulations for salon nail technicians.
- Cleaning and sanitizing tools, including nail chairs/tables, pedicure chairs, and manicure/pedicure instruments.
- Managing setup and cleanup at the start and end of each workday.
- At the close of each day, disposing of soiled linens and placing them in the appropriate laundry cart.
- Handling daily scheduling and billing within computer systems.
- Updating and maintaining client records in the computer system for all services rendered.
- Assisting with resident transportation as needed in Health Care Center and Personal Care.
- Ensuring high-quality customer service is consistently delivered. Maintaining each salon station with necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring a professional, clean, and safe appearance. Reporting any repairs to the salon manager.
- Maintaining knowledge and executing the principles of Eden Alternative.
- Demonstrating the ability to perform nail technician services effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a current Cosmetology/Nail Technician license from the PA State Board of Cosmetology.
- Preferred two years of relevant work experience.
- Commitment to professional development by learning two new technical skills annually to stay updated with industry trends.
- Strong customer service, written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
