Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests on patients of all ages.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 40 hours of guaranteed weekly work.
  • No weekend or holiday hours are required.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment, including Natus NeuroWorks, and utilizing Epic EMR system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality EEG tests on patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient test results, communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an EEG Technologist.
  • Current ABRET registration in EEG.
  • Advanced pediatric experience and ambulatory EEG skills, particularly with paste, tape, wrap methods.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced environments and ability to adapt to changing situations.
