Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our customers. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Process patient information, including demographic data and prescription history
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication dispensing
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Good math skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
