Lead Speech Language Pathologist

This position will oversee the department and provide support to the speech-language therapy staff. The ideal candidate will have a valid Tennessee School Services Provider license, endorsement in Special Education Speech/Language K, and meet health and physical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate monthly speech language pathology professional learning communities
Maintain inventory of speech-language pathology assessment protocols
Communicate with area graduate schools regarding placement of speech-language pathology interns
Ensure that speech language therapists are provided with field-specific professional development opportunities
Collaborate with various groups and/or individuals to communicate information, resolve issues, and provide services in compliance with established guidelines
Requirements
Valid Tennessee School Services Provider license
Endorsement in Special Education Speech/Language K
Meets health and physical requirements
Work Environment
This job may require lifting or carrying of objects up to fifty (50) pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to ten (10) pounds. The normal working environment is expected.
