Job Summary:

The Pediatric Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced pediatric clinic environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, and document chief complaint, medications, and allergies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Ambulatory or clinic experience, including rooming in and administering vaccinations to pediatric patient population.
  • Epic experience highly preferred.
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
Education and Certification:
  • Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN.
  • BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
Location:

UW Health West Clinic: 451 Junction Road, Madison, WI 53717 AND UW Health 20 S. Park Street, Madison, WI

Shifts:

40 hrs/week, Days, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm depending on clinic needs.
