D.H. Pace Company, Inc. is actively seeking skilled Commercial Security Systems Technicians to join our team. This role involves the comprehensive installation and maintenance of commercial electronic security solutions, including but not limited to Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Surveillance, Intrusion Alarm Systems, ID Badge Systems, Intercoms/Emergency Phones, and Parking Control/Turnstiles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and servicing of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and various other commercial security systems.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and contractors on-site to ensure effective coordination of installations.
- Uphold a safe working environment at all times.
- Manage inventory of issued products upon receipt of a company vehicle.
- Complete necessary paperwork and time sheets accurately and promptly.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime as required by specific projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Eligibility for an Arizona Alarm Agent License through ADPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Basic mechanical and electrical (low voltage) skills.
- Familiarity with basic tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and voltmeters.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Experience in supporting customer systems through remote diagnostics.
- Experience with the installation and servicing of electrified door hardware.
