About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Children's Wisconsin. As a pediatric specialist, you will work with children aged 0-18 years, primarily focusing on neuro-diverse patients with language delays or disorders, AAC, feeding, and voice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine, test, diagnose, plan, and implement complex treatment programs for pediatric inpatients and outpatients with communication disorders and/or feeding difficulties.
  • Collaborate with Audiologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, Psychologists, Social Workers, and other professionals in a team environment.
  • Monitor patient progress, ensure recommendations are followed, and maintain clinical records according to established procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Current license with the State of Wisconsin or eligible for gaining license with the state of Wisconsin (if currently licensed in another state).
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech/language pathology as granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or certificate-eligible and retain certificate within 12 months of hire.
  • Two years' experience preferred in order to gain comprehensive understanding of speech/language techniques and objectives and to gain expertise necessary to analyze and interpret objective and subjective information obtained through the assessment and treatment process.
