Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck/Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions.

This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday, 2pm-10:30pm. Pay rate is based on experience, with candidates with diesel experience eligible for higher hourly rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and grease applications
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet production deadlines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
