Job Overview
Tulsa Health Department is seeking a skilled Healthcare Outreach Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the enrollment and renewal of eligible clients in SoonerCare by providing Agency View assistance.

In addition to this core responsibility, you will assist the team with developing a strategic plan to expand outreach services to non-parenting adults ages 19-64 years old. This will involve identifying and engaging with those most in need of healthcare coverage, managing client requests for help with SoonerCare enrollment, and conducting basic needs screenings to identify services that best meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate SoonerCare enrollment and renewal through Agency View assistance
- Develop a strategic plan to expand outreach services to non-parenting adults ages 19-64 years old
- Identify and engage with individuals most in need of healthcare coverage
- Conduct basic needs screenings to identify services that best meet client needs
- Provide translation assistance to Spanish and Burmese populations as needed

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred
- At least one year of experience working with recruiting and engaging clients in a community agency or public setting and/or customer service delivery
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Zomi/Burmese preferred
