Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

Soliant is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time position for the upcoming school year.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with kindergarten through 12th grade students, primarily with younger children who have communication or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the communication skills of referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders.
  • Perform evaluations on referred students and make treatment recommendations.
  • Participate in and/or conduct individualized education plans (IEPs) staffing to discover and relate pertinent data used in the determination of student needs.
  • Assure the placement of students in the Speech-Language Pathologist program and support SLP objectives on IEPs.
  • Schedule students appropriately and provide consultative services to teachers, parents, admins, and allied agencies to integrate educational goals into the classroom, other educational programs, and the home environment.
Requirements
  • Massachusetts state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) and in-person work location.
