Job Title: Starbucks Barista PT

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Barista to join our team at InterContinental Chicago. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our menu and products to provide accurate and personalized recommendations to customers.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and tea.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the bar, equipment, and surrounding areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
