Our ServicesWe offer a wide range of services, including heart and vascular emergency and surgical care, diagnostics/radiology, women's care, home care, orthopedics, sleep and breathing disorders, and more. As part of CommonSpirit Health, our services are accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Inpatient Nurse at CHI Health Midlands, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients admitted to our unit. Your day-to-day tasks will depend on the tailored needs of your patients. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing team to devise and implement individualized care plans for patients, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation. You will also collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals, such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state, a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire. Specialty certification may be required after hire.
