Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Project Management Office and Project Managers to document the necessary skill sets, interpersonal skills, and resource maturity required for projects.
- Interface with both internal technical staff and external contractors to facilitate project execution.
- Assign available personnel to projects based on their expertise, prior experience, and current availability.
- Oversee daily project operations and manage resource allocation effectively.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure that the organization is prepared for upcoming project demands.
- Monitor and manage employee workloads, utilization rates, and overtime to maintain efficiency.
- Resolve resource conflicts and shortages through effective management techniques, including reallocating resources and adjusting staffing levels.
- Provide support to project managers regarding resource management challenges and enhancements to processes.
- Maintain awareness of all current and future projects within the organization to facilitate appropriate resource planning.
- Work closely with the HR department on staff training, compensation, and recruitment for project needs.
- Document processes such as weekly utilization reports and other relevant metrics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
