**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at New Mercer Commons Assisted Living. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of resident rooms and the facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Dust and clean resident rooms, including furniture and fixtures
- Sweep and mop floors, including hallways and common areas
- Stock carts with supplies and maintain inventory
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
**Requirements:**
- Must be at least 17 years of age with an education minimum of 8th grade
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be interested in geriatrics and able to work independently or as a team
- Must be attentive to detail and able to tolerate lifting, pushing, and pulling in the 30-pound range frequently
**What We Offer:**
- Starting wage between $13.50/hour - $14.25/hour (depending on experience)
- 3 opportunities for raises in the first year
