Job Responsibilities:

The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the PACU, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the recovery phase. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Current OR License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • BLS certification

Additional Information:

  • This position is for PACU Phase 1 Recovery; no Preop duties are included.
  • Charting will be conducted using Epic.
  • Patient ratios are expected to be 1:1-2.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required per facility guidelines, with exemptions considered.
  • On-call duties will be required on weekends.
