Beverage Server Job Description

Bally's Corporation is seeking a skilled Beverage Server to join our team. As a Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and timely take orders from and serve wine, draft or bottled beer and mixed drinks to customers or servers.
  • Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare beverages and other drinks.
  • Collect money for drinks served and follow point-of-sale procedures accurately and give receipt to patron.
  • Order or requisition liquors and supplies and maintain outlet liquor inventory.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display and slice and pit fruits for garnishing drinks.
  • Balance an individual cash drawer.
  • Set up and break down special event bars.
  • Pour high volume of drinks.
  • Assist Barback or Beverage Server functions when necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months' related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to work with the public presenting a clean, courteous image.
  • Indiana Liquor License and ability to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming license.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7+ hours).
  • Ability to use stairwells or service elevator to go from floor to floor.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs.
  • Ability to work in an environment with second-hand smoke and loud noises.
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends.

Additional Information:

  • May assist with casino restaurant with food prep, food handling, stocking and cashier duties as needed.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
