Position Overview:
The role of a Housekeeper involves maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces within a residential community. Responsibilities include collecting waste, sweeping, mopping, and ensuring that restrooms are stocked with essential supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning of designated areas, including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, and vents.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum all common area floors, restrooms, and break areas.
- Sanitize restroom facilities and replenish necessary supplies.
- Maintain common area floors through washing and waxing hard surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning tile grout.
- Ensure cleanliness of walls, windows, and doors, including washing windows and maintaining sanitation standards.
- Empty trash receptacles in common areas and transport waste to disposal locations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as Housekeeper, Janitor, or Cleaner, with strong customer service abilities. Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is essential.
Applicants should be able to interpret and execute verbal and written instructions effectively. Flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are crucial traits.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a collaborative team member capable of working independently.
- Demonstrated politeness and experience in a customer service setting.
- Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
