VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs that foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Development: Design and deliver clinical education programs that meet the strategic objectives of our organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with education staff across the enterprise to develop an annual training calendar and ensure a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
- Curriculum Development: Create and modify educational curriculum and training materials to ensure staff has current knowledge and competencies to meet program contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Performance Improvement: Analyze program outcomes and make recommendations for change and/or new programs to improve clinical education and training support for field operations.
- Staff Development: Train and/or oversee training of new and current staff in VNS Health/program philosophy, policy, standards, procedures, documentation, models for service delivery, and efficient, productive, cost-effective work processes.
- Leadership: Collaborate with Quality department in the development of and implementation of education-related training programs.
- Communication: Communicate ongoing e-learning opportunities and evaluate e-learning usage and effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of annual clinical education strategic goals and objectives.
- Financial Management: Utilize resources and practices sound fiscal responsibility and provide input for the development of the department budget.
- Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience: Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training.
- Skills: Effective oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, coaching, and organizational skills required.
- Certifications: Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
