Overview of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a Level III NICU setting.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatal respiratory care, including ventilator management and blood gas analysis. They will be responsible for evaluating, initiating, and deciding on appropriate interventions for neonates.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate from an approved School for Respiratory Care
  • Licensed by the States of Arkansas and Oklahoma to practice Respiratory Care
  • Working knowledge of Neonatal Respiratory Care, including Ventilator Management and Blood Gas Analysis
  • Certification Exam (CRT) given by the NBRC
  • Current in CPR , NRP and STABLE
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Degree
  • Previous Experience working in a Level III NICU
  • Neonatal / Pediatric Specialist PALS
  • Advanced Computer Skills
