Join Our Team as a Teacher Assistant in Early Childhood Education

Zen Educate is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher Assistant to join our team in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Lead Teacher in executing lesson plans, managing the classroom, and implementing activities that promote the development of young children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in daily activities with the children, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
  • Follow guidelines and company standards to provide exceptional care and support to every child in your classroom.
  • Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children's growth and development, fostering a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance student learning experiences and provide individualized support as needed.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate between $17 - $22 per hour, paid weekly.
  • Paid Sick Leave and 401K (certain eligibility criteria).

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification.
  • 1-year experience working with children in a daycare center as a Teacher Aide.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot sponsor employment visas or relocation assistance at this time).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Teacher Assistant.
  • Daycare training (SUID/ SIDS, AHT, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of classroom expectations.
