We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at Elderwood Assisted Living at West Seneca. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal assistance, grooming, and medication management.
- Provide support with wheelchair transport and apply/utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Respond promptly to residents' requests and notify supervisors of changes in residents' conditions or needs.
- Assist with service in the dining room and maintain facility standards for service and customer focus techniques.
- Document duties performed and attend facility meetings, staff meetings, and required or preferred in-services.
- Eighteen (18) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certification by an approved basic training program approved by the Department of Health and possess written evidence of such certification.
- Ability to assist residents with all aspects of daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and transferring.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $21.00 per hour. Additionally, we are offering new sign-on and retention bonuses for Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) through the ARPA ALP Funding program.
